Fired Heater - Preconditions

At Pro/II runtime for the successful Execution of the furnace unit operation, the following preconditions are to be satisfied

1. The user has one or more streams on the process side of the furnace.

2. The user has one or more feed streams to the combustion side of the furnace. If the there is insufficient oxygen in the stream for the complete combustion of its Hydrocarbon components, Air will automatically be add to the streams to meet the Oxygen requirement. This is shown in the furnace report as Air (ext added)

3. Operating conditions of the above Streams are specified.
