Fired Heater - Design and Assumptions

1) "Process Duty" as on the General Spec and "Duty" on the Report sheet refer to the same parameter i.e. Heat picked up by the process fluid.

2) The Maximum Tubeskin Temperature / Maximum Average Temperature are present more of estimates than Operational constraints. Hence if the calculation values should ever exceed the values provided by the user, a warning is thrown.

3) In order to meet the Design Constraint of "Maximum Tubeskin Temperature" or the "Maximum Average Delta Temperature", the unknown parameter i.e. The Combustion side heat transfer coefficients may be manipulated. If the Combustion side heat transfer coefficient is already provided then a warning is thrown that the design constraint could not be met due to inadequate degree of freedom of the parameters. A warning is thrown is the calculated parameter does exceed the constraint.
