HXAIR - Main Window

This window is used to describe the Air Cooled Heat Exchanger unit by selecting either Rating or Design Calculation Mode. After selecting the required mode, relevant details can be entered in the required windows. When Design Mode is selected, MULTIBUNDLE and Pressure Drop Options Window will be disabled and if instead Rating Window is selected, DESIGN CONSTRAINTS Window will be disabled.

Standard Heat Curves option

When the Standard Heat Curves option is selected, three standard heating/cooling curves are generated on shell and tube sides of the heat exchanger. These curves are generated at three isobar points: starting pressure, midpoint pressure, and ending pressure. For each curve, 11 evaluation points are considered and various transport and critical properties are calculated.
