Use this window to enter details of the FAN Options Window where you enter data related to the Fan. Two Types of Draft Options are available in the Fan. User can enter either Forced Type or Induced Type Draft. The Default Value for Fan Efficiency is 100. The remaining values need to be entered by the user.
Usage
Draft Type
Select Forced or Induced draft type. For a forced draft the fan is situated below the tube bundle, for the induced draft the fan is situated above the tube bundle.
Fan Diameter
Enter the Fan Diameter; this field is available only for the Rating mode.
Fan Power
Enter the Fan power and this is available only for the rating mode. PRO/II calculates the air mass flow rate from the Fan power specified. Currently PRO/II will not back calculate the Air side outlet flow rate based on the Fan power supplied by the user.
Fan Efficiency
Enter the combined fan and motor efficiency as percent. The default is 100.
Number of Fans per Bay
Enter the number of fans per bay; if the user doesn’t enter any value then PRO/II calculates the number of fans per bay to satisfy the fan diameter specified. This is available only for the rating mode.
