Extent for Individual Reactions
Use this window to define the extent of reaction for individual reactions in the reaction set.
Usage
All reactions in the set selected in the Gibbs Reactor Main Window are listed in the table. Either an approach or an extent for a selected component may be entered for each reaction.
Approach
Enter the Value for the temperature approach to equilibrium for the reaction. The temperature unit may also be selected by clicking the highlighted text.
Extent
The Base Component defaults to the selection in the Reaction Data - Heat of Reaction Data Window. Enter the amount of this component which is changed in the reaction. A positive Value means that the component is produced in the reaction. A negative Value means that it is consumed. Either weight or molar quantities may be specified.
How to get to this window
The Extent for Individual Reactions window is accessed by pressing the Individual Reactions button on the Gibbs Reactor - Extent of Reaction Window.
