Calculation of CAPE-OPEN Unit Operations

During flowsheet solution, PRO/II performs the following steps when it invokes the calculations on a CAPE-OPEN unit operation:

1. Initializes the CAPE-OPEN unit operations and sets the parameter values.

2. Connects the feed and product streams to the CAPE-OPEN unit as "material objects".

3. Invokes the "calculate" method on the CAPE-OPEN unit.

4. After the "calculate" method, PRO/II loops through all the product streams and performs a flash calculation using the assigned thermodynamic system.
